In this first episode of The Alliance Conversation my guest is Tom Halle. Tom is an experienced strategic alliance professional based in San Diego, CA. With a broad experience in bringing all kind of organizations together in partnerships Tom has specialized in helping small companies to partner with large companies. As Tom phrases it himself he helps David’s partner with Goliath’s.
In this conversation we learn from Tom that for a strategic alliance each company needs to be key for gaining something that is strategic for the other. As such a strategic alliance is more than business as usual. Tom explains the differences between a strategic alliance and a regular partnership. He shares some interesting insights on why companies should partner in general and in particular what the benefits can be for small companies to partner with large companies.
